Fullerenes are a group of molecules of pure carbon. In the periodic table of elements, carbon has the letter C of Carbon.
Our oils incorporate the special molecule buckminsterfullerene (Fullerene C60). Here, 60 atoms of carbon are bonded together to form a molecule in the shape of a hollow ball.
Besides fullerenes, many other manifestations (allotropes) of carbon exist. The most well-known are diamond and graphite.
